Local SEO

Found by the people close enough to actually turn up.

National SEO and local SEO are different games with different scoreboards. Local is decided largely in the map pack, and the map pack cares about things ordinary SEO ignores: whether your business hours are right, whether your address matches across forty directories, whether anyone reviewed you this quarter. It is unglamorous, it is finite, and most competitors have not done it.

This is for you if

  • Customers have to be near you to buy: a clinic, a trade, a restaurant, a practice
  • You appear for your own business name and nothing else
  • Competitors sit in the map pack and you sit below the fold
  • You have several locations and each one's page is the same page with the town swapped

It isn't, if

  • You sell nationally or online only. That is ordinary SEO and the tactics barely overlap.
  • You want reviews written for you. We build the pipeline that asks real customers; anything else is a policy violation and a reputational risk.
  • Your opening hours, phone number and address genuinely change month to month. Local SEO rewards consistency, and there is no working around that.
How it works

What actually happens.

  1. 01

    Google Business Profile, properly

Categories, services, attributes, hours, photos, and the questions section people actually read. Most profiles are half filled in, which is the cheapest gap on this list to close.

  2. 02

Pages that differ from each other

One page per location or service area with content specific to it. Ten pages generated from a template with the town name swapped is the pattern Google's spam systems were built to catch.

  3. 03

    Fix the citations

Name, address and phone made consistent across the directories that matter, and the duplicates that accumulated over the years closed. Inconsistency here quietly suppresses everything else you do.

  4. 04

    Reviews, asked for properly

A pipeline that asks at the point the customer is happiest, and responses to every review including the bad ones. Response rate is visible to the next reader and it is visible to Google.

What you get

  • Google Business Profile built out properly, then kept current
  • Location and service-area pages that are genuinely different from each other
  • Citation and directory cleanup so your name, address and phone agree everywhere
  • A review pipeline that asks at the right moment and responds to every one

Questions

The ones people actually ask.

How long until we see the map pack?

Profile and citation work often moves things within four to eight weeks. Competitive categories in a city centre take longer, and any agency quoting you a date is quoting you a hope.

We have multiple locations. Does that change things?

It becomes most of the work: one profile per location, one genuinely distinct page per location, and consistency across all of them. It is also where most multi-site businesses are weakest, which makes it the opportunity.

Can you get us more reviews?

By asking your real customers at the right moment and making it one tap. Not by writing them, buying them, or filtering out the unhappy ones. All three are against Google's terms and all three eventually surface.

Is this different from the SEO services page?

Yes. That one is technical and content SEO for competing nationally. This one is about the map pack and proximity. Businesses that need both usually start here, because local converts sooner.

What is the most expensive thing your team still does by hand?

Tell us, and we'll tell you honestly whether software can fix it, and roughly what it would cost. No pitch deck.
