Google Ads

Paid search, judged on revenue instead of clicks.

Google Ads is one of the few channels where the feedback loop is fast enough to actually manage. Most accounts do not use it: conversions are counted as form loads, the account is structured around the product catalogue instead of what people search for, and nobody has read a search terms report in months. Those three fixes usually matter more than any bidding strategy.

This is for you if

  • You are spending meaningfully every month and cannot say which campaigns produce revenue
  • An agency reports impressions, clicks and CTR, and never mentions money
  • Cost per click keeps climbing and nobody has looked at what you are actually appearing for
  • The ads are decent and they point at a homepage

It isn't, if

  • Your budget is small enough that management fees would eat most of it. Below roughly $2,000 a month, run it yourself and we will show you how.
  • Nobody is searching for what you sell. Demand capture cannot create demand, and paid social or B2B marketing is the honest alternative.
  • You cannot change the website. Half of paid search performance is what happens after the click.
How it works

What actually happens.

  1. 01

Fix what counts as a conversion

Revenue where it can be tracked, qualified leads where it cannot, and offline conversions imported from your CRM. Optimising towards form loads teaches Google to find people who fill in forms.

  2. 02

    Rebuild around intent

Campaigns grouped by what someone wants, not by your product taxonomy. Then a negative keyword list built from the search terms report and maintained weekly, which is where the quiet waste lives.

  3. 03

    Landing pages for the ad

The page matches the promise in the ad. Sending every click to the homepage is paying full price for a visitor and then asking them to find it themselves.

  4. 04

    Report what changed and why

Monthly: what we cut, where the budget moved, and what it did to cost per acquisition. If a report cannot be argued with, it is not a report.

What you get

  • Account structure rebuilt around intent instead of around product names
  • Conversion tracking that counts revenue, not form loads
  • Landing pages built for the ad, because the click is only half the spend
  • A monthly report naming what we cut and what we moved the budget to

Built with

  • Google Ads
  • GA4
  • Merchant Center
  • Looker Studio
  • Tag Manager

The outcome

Spend that traces to pipeline, and a clear list of what to switch off.

Search campaigns judged on booked revenue, with the negative keyword list nobody else bothers to maintain.

Questions

The ones people actually ask.

How do you charge?

A flat monthly fee based on account complexity, not a percentage of spend. Percentage-of-spend pays us more for spending more of your money, which is a bad incentive to hand a stranger.

Do we own the account?

Yes. It is created under your billing and stays with you, complete with its history, if you ever leave. An agency that keeps the account keeps the learning too, which is the point of the arrangement.

What about Performance Max?

Useful in some accounts, a black box in others. We use it where the data supports it and keep enough conventional search running to know what is actually happening.

How long before we know if it is working?

Six to eight weeks for a fair read in most accounts, longer where the sales cycle is long. Judging a campaign at two weeks is judging noise.

What is the most expensive thing your team still does by hand?

Tell us, and we'll tell you honestly whether software can fix it, and roughly what it would cost. No pitch deck.
