Resume Review

The document that decides whether anyone reads the rest of you.

A resume gets about six seconds on the first pass, and before that it gets parsed by software that will silently drop half of it if the formatting is wrong. Both of those are fixable in an afternoon once somebody tells you what is actually broken.

This is for you if

  • You're applying steadily and not hearing back
  • Your bullets describe duties rather than outcomes, and you already suspect it
  • You're changing domain and the resume still argues for the last job
  • You have no idea whether an applicant tracking system can even read it

It isn't, if

  • You want it rewritten from scratch. We annotate and direct; the voice stays yours, and a resume that doesn't sound like you falls apart in the interview.
  • You want it back in an hour. It takes 48, because it gets read properly rather than skimmed.
How it works

What actually happens.

  1. 01

Send the resume and the target

The document, plus the roles you're actually aiming at. The same resume is strong for one job and weak for another, and reviewing it without a target is guessing.

  2. 02

It gets read the way it will be read

Six seconds first, to see what survives the scan. Then properly, line by line. Then through an ATS parser, to see what a machine keeps.

  3. 03

    Notes back within 48 hours

Every bullet annotated with the metric it's missing, a rewritten summary and skills section, and the formatting fixes that stop the parser mangling it.

  4. 04

You edit, then send it back

The re-review is included. Most of the value is in the second pass, when the changes are yours and we're checking them rather than writing them.

What you get

  • Line-by-line notes on every bullet, naming the metric each one is missing
  • ATS check: parsing, keywords, and the formatting that quietly breaks both
  • A rewritten summary and skills section, matched to the roles you are chasing
  • One free re-review once you have made the changes

Questions

The ones people actually ask.

Do I get a rewritten file back?

You get line-by-line notes, plus a rewritten summary and skills section you can paste in. The bullets stay yours to edit, because the person who has to defend them in an interview is you.

What exactly is the ATS check?

We run the file through a parser and show you what comes out the other side. Multi-column layouts, text inside images, tables, and unusual fonts are the usual culprits, and none of them announce themselves — the resume just quietly arrives as gibberish.

Is the free re-review really free?

Yes, once, whenever you're ready for it. There is no time limit and no upsell attached. A review you act on is worth more to us as a referral than a second fee would be.

What is the most expensive thing your team still does by hand?

Tell us, and we'll tell you honestly whether software can fix it, and roughly what it would cost. No pitch deck.
